What is your band's name? How did you come up with that name?

ALFORNA

Band`s name is ALFORNA. ALF is the family name from Gernot (Drums) and Mandi (Guit), O standing as symbol for the sun and RNA is the shortcut for Ribonucleicid acid. It`s a ubiquitous family of large biological molecules that perform multiple vital roles in the coding, decoding, regulation, and expression of genes./,,/ /,,/ /,,/ :)

How would you describe your sound. What makes you unique?

ALFORNA

Our music style can not be assigned to one certain genre, but could be mostly defined as Thrash Metal, if you like. Anyhow, it is up to the listeners, it’s just our ALFORNA-METAL, as it stands for independence

ALFORNA

Metallica, Slayer, Sepultura, Manowar, Megadeath, Machin Head, Testament, PerlJam,Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Running Wild, Wasp, Helloween, Scorpions, Sacred Reich and much more

How experienced are you on the stage, a virgin or whore?

Right in the Middle, but it's direction to whore ;-)

How would you describe your shows?

ALFORNA

Pure joy of playing and having fun with the fans \m/

Tell us about your favorite show and why?

ALFORNA

Release party at the 11th of january from our first Album "Awake", was a great day for us and cool party with about over 200 Fans and friends. Support from Sepultura, because one of our idols \m/

Tell us about your worst show and why?

ALFORNA

There is no one, every show is cool and alot of fun \m/

Tell Us About Your Dream Show, who you'd like to play with and where?

ALFORNA

Actually, it doesn't matter. Everywhere where our fans want to see us play?

Do you have a street team and how can you join?

ALFORNA

No we do not have one for the moment. We make all by our self.

Do you have a record label and if not are you looking for one?

ALFORNA

No, we have non. Yes we are looking for one, but think it is not easy in the metal scene to get one. But we promote hard, and see what`s coming.

What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?

ALFORNA

Get signed, playing lots of shows, tour to Europe and US and maybe more \m/

Finally, do have any words on what Arm The Pit means to you?

ALFORNA

Very much. Arm the pit have owe our attention in the United States. But also Nuclearrockradio and all others, they know it.
