For the record, who's answering the interview?

Hi guys, I'm Fred Bizier, bass player for Reanimator.

What is your band's name? How did you come up with that name?

REANIMATOR

The idea behind the name is that the band wanted to bring thrash metal back to life here in Québec. Reanimating it in à way.

So who's in the band and what instruments do you each play?

REANIMATOR

Patrick Martin on vocals
Joël Racine and Ludovic Bastien on guitars
Fred Bizier on bass
Francis Labelle on drums

How would you describe your sound. What makes you unique?

REANIMATOR

We're a big melting pot of all the thrash, rock'n'roll and heavy metal bands you know and love. I wouldn't describe our music as "unique" but more as a tribute to this kind or music.

What bands have influenced each of you?

REANIMATOR

How experienced are you on the stage, a virgin or whore?

REANIMATOR

Ahah after then years touring and stuff, let's just say it's not our first barbecue.

How would you describe your shows?

REANIMATOR

We like to be over the top, give all we have to the crowds, and do the same for us.

ATP

Tell us about your favorite show and why?

REANIMATOR

I don't know if it's my favorite show but we had a really cool gig last week in Jonquiere with our good friends in Anonymus. Big stage, big crowd, really professional crew, amazing stage sound quality. We made a lot of new friends too, we had a blast!

Tell us about your worst show and why?

REANIMATOR

Ahah that one night in Poland, I won't tell the name of the place but it was a nightmare. We drove like 15 hours to get there, to slam our face into a locked door. We waited for like 2 hours for the person in charge of opening the place. This is where it gets interesting: no toilets, no stage, no PA, and ultimately, nobody came. We played like 3 or 4 songs before the police came and stopped the show. Finally our van broke just as we were leaving so we had to spend the night waiting for somebody to pass by and help us. It was fucking cold too... It's a good story tough ahah

Tell Us About Your Dream Show, who you'd like to play with and where?

REANIMATOR

I'd love to play with overkill in a small, jam packed venue.

Do you have a street team and how can you join?

REANIMATOR

Nope, don't have that

ATP

Do you have a record label and if not are you looking for one?

REANIMATOR

We don't have any record label to our name. We like doing our business by ourselves without having to answer to anybody. It might surprise a few people but it's really simpler that way. Maybe someday we will have a good offer but for now, we're ok

What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?

REANIMATOR

Right now, we're focusing on promoting and touring the shit out of our new album. We'll see where it leads us. We're thinking of a destination for another international tour and stuff like that.
