Based out of NJ, New Day Dawn is a melodic modern hard rock band with a touch of blues -think Shinedown or Black Stone Cherry and with a sexy, fiery lead singer who is often compared to a modern-day Ann Wilson or Pat Benatar. The band is produced by Chris Henderson of 3 Doors Down and John Moyer of Disturbed- Their latest CD was also mixed by Rogers Masson (Daughtry, Vintage Trouble) and has been getting great reviews and an ongoing radio support on over 200 commercial and college stations throughout the U.S. New Day Dawn s music has recently been featured on major commericial stations like Q104.3 (NYC), WMMR (Philly) and The WRAT (NJ). New Day Dawn have opened for many national acts including Lacuna Coil, Sick Puppies, LIT, Saving Abel, Gin Blossoms, Tonic, The Fixx, Adrenaline Mob, and Mr. Big. Most exciting, they were chosen to perform as part of the 2013 ROCKLAHOMA line-up (in Pryor, OK) with Alice In Chains , Guns N Roses and Cheap Trick and many others.

But maybe the most interesting part about this band is lead singer, Dawn Botti's story. For years these petite front lady led a double life. She was an executive at a major media company by day and a rock musician by night... until June of 2012, when she was confronted with an ultimatum. My boss said to me either you re going to be successful here and you re gonna push your music back down to a hobby level, or you can t work here. It was a choice Botti had thought about on a regular basis but she says when it was actually presented to her, it was the easiest decision in the world to make. I m not giving up music.

Musically, Botti describes Rise Above This as anthemic rock, with big, bold choruses. This is due, in part, to New Day Dawn working with platinum-selling songwriter/ guitarist Chris Henderson (3 Doors Down), and John Moyer (Disturbed, Adrenaline Mob) who each produced tracks on the album.
